EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) or Tapping is a fantastic self-help tool that involves stimulating acupuncture meridian points on the body with your fingertips, which sends a message to the emotional centre in the brain, calming both the mind and the body.
It is an extremely effective and invaluable therapeutic technique which uses tapping on the same points on the body as used in acupuncture. Tapping sends a message to a spe- cific part of the brain which reduces or eliminates stressful feelings. It is when the body is in a relaxed state that true healing can occur.
It is fast becoming common knowledge that the mind, body and spirit are inseparable: what one does for the good of one will positively affect the others. Tapping has proven successful in helping a huge variety of physical, mental and emotional issues and the beauty and simplicity of this approach is that the same process may be applied no matter what the problem may be.
My name's Charlotte and I've worked as an Advanced EFT practitioner for many years. I will introduce you to the technique and show how we can apply it to help us in our every- day lives. The 21st century can appear to prove stressful in a great many different ways. It seems we are faced with very different challenges from our forebears. My belief is that we could all do with as many different tools in our toolkits, so to speak, to give us the coping abilities, mechanisms and means to self-soothe, alleviate pain and help others - not to mention to ramp up positive feelings! EFT is one of these very tools that I want to pass on to you.
